MyCerty collects personal data in order to provide you with a better customer experience. The protection of your data is a top priority for us, so we would like to inform you explicitly about the way we handle them.

The information we collect about you is necessary for the service we provide, and also allows us to provide you with an optimal customer experience.

This data is collected when you use the MyCerty platform. It may also be collected via multiple communication channels outside the MyCerty platform such as: website, email, social networks, chat, telephone conversations and online meetings.

  1. Purpose and processing of data

We guarantee that your personal data will only be used for legitimate business purposes:

  • To enable us to provide the MyCerty service,
  • To maintain the professional relationship with you,
  • To be able to offer you all the security features on our platform,
  • To meet the contractual obligations to our customers,
  • To respond to your inquiries,
  • To subscribe/unsubscribe you to our newsletters,
  • To inform you of news, events,
  • To provide you with personalized content adapted to your needs.

The personal data collected by MyCerty is treated in a strictly confidential manner in order to comply with the principles set out in the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

  1.  Disclosure of your personal data to third parties

We undertake that the personal data collected via the MyCerty platform within the framework of our services will not be shared with third parties.

We may share your personal information collected outside the MyCerty platform with third parties, such as our partners or suppliers of analytical or technological data, in order to process your data in the best possible conditions.

  1. Data retention period

Personal information collected via the MyCerty platform in the context of our services will be kept or stored for 90 days.

The period during which we will retain or store your personal information collected outside the MyCerty platform will depend on the services we perform for you and the period during which you require these services.

MyCerty will carry out regular data cleaning and updating operations to ensure the accuracy of the data. Employee data collected and stored in the frame of the work certificate process is kept on our servers 90 days after the download of the corresponding document by the HR team. After this delay, personal data is automatically deleted and cannot be recovered.

 

  1. Data protection rights

You can at any time have access to all the personal data we hold about you and be informed about how it is processed. To do so, you only need to send us a written and legitimate request (attaching copy of an identity document) by e-mail to [email protected].

 

5.1 Right of access: You have the right at any time to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Such request must be addressed by e-mail to [email protected]. If we have a good reason, and if permitted by the GDPR, we may refuse such a request for access to your personal information or to certain elements of your request. If we deny your request or any part of it, we will provide you with the reasons why.

 

5.2 Right to correct or supplement: If any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected, updated or supplemented. You can inform us of this by contacting us via our email: [email protected].

 

5.3 Right of deletion or opposition to processing: Insofar as personal data refers to art.3 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and is related to legitimate interests as set out in art.6, para.1, let.f DPMR, there is the right, according to art.21 DPMR, to object to the processing of such data if there are reasons specific to a particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct marketing measures. In the latter case, you have the possibility at any time to object to the use of your data for marketing purposes with effect for the future. Please note, however, that any processing may take a few days for technical reasons.

6.2 Use of Google Analytics for website analysis: Our website uses Google’s web analysis service, Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses various cookies. These make it possible to analyse of the content of our website, including the analysis of IP addresses via Google. If anonymisation is activated, Google shortens the IP addresses within the member states of the European Union or other member states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, thus preventing your identity from being traced back to you. 6.3 Google Adwords and Analytics Remarketing: We advertise our website in Google search results as well as on third party websites via Google AdWords. For this reason, the Google Remarketing cookie is activated each time you visit our website, enabling us to automatically target advertising by means of a pseudonymised cookie ID and on the basis of the pages you have visited. This enables us, in weighing up our most legitimate and overriding interests, to guarantee optimal marketing of our website.
